In her career spanning few decades that has seen her mesmerizing audiences all over the world in several prestigious national and international festivals, she has been conferred with numerous awards. To name a few are Pt. Ram Marathe Sangeet Samaroha in year 2006, Sanskar Bharati in 2007, Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Natya Parishad in 2009. She was invited by the Prime Minister of Mauritius for a live performance and was felicitated in the year 2009 in Mauritius.
She was also honored by Nritya Gaurav Award on the eve of International Dance Day i.e.29th April 2014 by Akhil Bhratiya Sanskrutik Sangha, Pune. She was recognized by Rotary Club of Thane Midtown with excellence award for her phenomenal contribution in the field of performing arts.
Having trained under Bhavana Lele, her students have bagged several prizes in different National and International competitions and also have performed at various State and National Dance festivals. Her students have received CCRT National Scholarship and got an opportunity to dance in a film Rajjo choregraphed by Pt. Birju Maharaj. They also got the privilege to perform in the World Children Theatre Day in Delhi. Their excellent performances have also garnered media attention resulting in several articles being published in leading newspapers of Thane.
Students of Kalanand participated in 3rd Cultural Olympiyad held in Dubai in December, 2014 and bagged gold medals in all participated events.
